This website highlights the remarkable career of Vera Rubin, a pioneering astrophysicist who revolutionised our understanding of the universe by revealing the existence of dark matter, while fighting for the recognition of women in science.
Our goal: to share her story, promote female scientists, and facilitate access to educational, inspiring, and well-researched content for all!
Who am I ?
Student in Multimedia and Internet Professions at IUT Nord Franche Comté, interested in scientific popularisation, equality in science and the creation of educational content. This project is part of my coursework and aims to raise public awareness of the importance of diversity and empowerment in the scientific world.
Why this website ?
To raise awareness of the often invisible contributions of women in science, break down stereotypes and provide accessible resources on astronomy, physics, literature and cinema.
